The cycle of research seminars “Terre de Femmes” invites reflection on the major challenges of the Caribbean-Americas region through a feminine lens. The conferences, screenings, and roundtable discussions will highlight the importance of critical and creative thinking produced by Caribbean artists, writers, and intellectuals. The invited speakers will contribute to a dialogue on historical, sociological, anthropological, political, and cultural approaches, firmly rooted in gender studies and environmental studies. In a perspective of research and innovation, “Terre de Femmes” will be an opportunity for a true exploration of spaces, ideas, and cultures at the intersection of current challenges related to social justice, intersectional ecology, and gender equality in the Caribbean-Americas region. The inaugural seminar will take place on April 17th at 5:00 PM at the Faculty of Letters of UA*! We will be discussing sculptresses of the black world. SAVE THE DATE!
